Project Overview

I’ve had the pleasure of supporting SwissGlobal as an independent contractor in various roles since 2017. Over the years I have aided them with sales activities, digital marketing efforts and translation project management. 

I currently act as the company’s writer and content manager. 

Project Tasks

Some of the key projects I have supported SwissGlobal with include:

  • Coordinating the company’s website re-design in 2020
  • Designing, managing and contributing to the website’s blog 
  • Writing and translating newsletters
  • UX-writing elements such as error pages, CTAs, and confirmation emails
  • Creating and localising content for all things language and technology

Challenges

After the website re-design, there were several UX-elements across the page that needed improvement. Here’s an example of the error page of the blog search function before and after:

Before: Blog searches with no results would lead to this search results page. 

After: I wrote a UX text with a button at the bottom that leads back to the main blog page (German page)

After: I then also localised the same text into English.

Results and ongoing work

We’re constantly improving the overall user experience of the site, and continue to publish high-quality content within the language and technology sector.
